…or another wild idea from the Prompt Generator Department.
One of the core pieces of my prompt generator app is the prompts themselves. In my previous release, I named a bunch of plants and flowers in the “Flora” section and called it a day. Today, I was looking at my code and thought, ‘What if I add the plant’s meaning, too?’
That idea inspired this current project. Originally, I planned to write all the prompts by hand, but while I was reading through some of the online resources for flower meanings, I quickly realized that one person can’t do that alone for the number of prompts I need for my app. Although it pains me a little, I have to rely on ChatGPT, Gemini, and some of my other AI friends to come up with enough “meanings.” I relented, but still occasionally check to ensure that these meanings are sufficient and factually-based. The output should, in my opinion, be interpreted with caution. This app is not a flower meaning dictionary but a fun little app to kick your brain gears into motion, so even if it is not 100% factually-based, if it inspires the user to create, I’m happy with it.
As an artist, I find this app especially helpful. It inspired me to redo the “Fauna” section as well. Additionally I added a “precious stones” category. For now, not much has changed on the actual app, but I am fairly happy with it. If you’re interested, check out my GitHub Repository. I added the new file there.
